    neff machine (old) S5443X1GB

    does not fill. The aquastop valve appears OK

    When starting, there is NO voltage (should be 240V ac) at the aquastop terminals. Does this mean a dead control unit ?

    Hi
    Could be faulty module or crud build up in the level sensor unit on the left hand side of tank.

    Please do not LIVE test under any circumstances.
    Power off if you are to investigate this fault

    how do I chech on the crud build up ?

    Power off, l/h panel off and visually inspect.
    Do a search aswell for this under Bosch 🙂

    Many thanks for your help in the diagnostics.

    I have now decided to replace my 8 year old dishwasher by
    one of your recommended ones (bosch)
