Rattling/ tapping (sounds internal) on loaded spin.
Pretty sure it isn’t a bearing as it sounds too for forward. Thought heater bollard, but with heater nut moved while in spin no change.
All nuts are tight on the rear weights, motor and spider.
How does the front weight tighten, is it the servis style band round the tub? Is there any known issue with noisy spins on these. Dont really want to take the tub/ drum out to find nothing as I’ve already spent ages spinning, tightening and prodding ever bit I can get to 😥Tony C

Tony CRemove the spring of door gasket and can see front weight status (if isn’t broken) and you can try to tighten from screw bound (if it’s inox model tube). 😉

on AEG comes from shock absorber (or his drum fixing supports); economic ball or front lid… 😉
But neverless from broken drum spider (I had just three cases on my large experience with AEG and then was client faults: used washer with sticky absorber).

Front weight is held by bolts going sideways through it into threaded plates. Haven’t had a problem with one for some years now.

Thought heater bollard, but with heater nut moved while in spin no change. In order to see if is or isn’t bearings: I run one spin program with open door (empty machine) and hear!!! and after that (with machine “OFF”) I take drum pulley in hands and try to shake it… (“to wake it”) …
In order to be sure you don’t have anything stranger object on drum tube remove heater and look… and run again spin (isolate heater wires)… 😉
