ParticipantI have a Bosch Classixx 1200 which has worked fine for years. It has recently started to “stick” during the rinse cyle ( 40 deg wash) and would stay there forever if i didnt manually turn it off then on to the spin cycle.
Can anyone throw any light on why this should be happening?
Many thanksSeptember 15, 2007 at 5:58 pm #227670Penguin45

If it will do the spin sequence, the drain pump and motor must be working. What is happening with fill? No fill = no advance.

It appears to work absolutely normally until it starts the rinse cycle… it does rinse, but it goes on and on and on………
once i have spun it separately i have found that the clothes are warmer to touch than usual……
thanks

If the clothes are still warm, it ain’t rinsing – all rinses are cold water only. You’re going to have to stand there and observe……… 😀

when it gets to the rinse cycle, open the soap drawer a little way and see where if there is COLD water comming into the drawer.

Thanks for that – I wll watch it carefully and see if i can find out when it ” sticks”. If it is sticking on the wash cycle, what could be the cause do you think?
Thanks for the help so far

if it doesn’t drain at the end of the wash cycle then it may be that the drain filter is blocked or the drain pump is blocked or failed..does it empty the water out? can you hear the drain pump working, is the drain hose blocked, does it drain into the u-bend under the sink. no drain no progress. 😉
