    I have a tabletop Zanussi dishwasher DCE5655.
    About 3years old, but I haven’t used it for the past 18 months or so (had an uncle stay so he hand washed for me) 🙂

    Has been working fine this month.

    Last night, however, it finished its wash cycle and just sat there (till I noticed it) with its power light on and making a pumping/swishing noise. I pressed the power switch, so the power light went off, and it stillmade the pumping/swishing noise!

    So I switch off at the power socket.

    I switch on at the power socket, and it again makes that noise.

    Is there a reset switch or something – manual doesn’t mention the fault or a reset switch?

    The tray underneath is flooded. Pull plug, drain by leaning back, find leak.n Check that the collar securing the salt chamber has not worked loose.

    Thanks it was that! I pulled the machine out found the export pipe was kinked and I emptied out. Tested ok. Thanks very much!
