    Hi guys,

I’ve had a search around and it seems this is a common problem, but I’m a bit stuck.

The machine will power on, but when the start button is pressed, it beeps like it would start the cycle and then start filling, but nothing actually happens. Basically, I can press all the buttons I want, but nothing happens at all.

I have gone into the diagnostic mode…but when the spin speed slow and hold led’s are lit (the water temp low led is also lit) there are no other lights on (in the wash progress area) which I presume means there are no error codes?

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on? It seems this has been an intermittent problem for some time, but it seemed to work randomly. The machine has been doing this for several days now, so I think the problem is here to stay.

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers.

    Leigh

Do the obvious first. Lid switch and out of balance switches are where you start……… They both suffer from dodgy wiring due to dampness and the switches themselves can become sticky.

Top and power off if you’re investigating.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll give that a shot and see how it goes…

    Cheers.
