Fagor/baumatic d/washer fault

hi guys
have this dishwasher with the following fault below but is not any of the suggested problems as per the error code bumpf.
1 lit/1not/2 lit = Control card, element or safety stat
these are flashing but in between flashes the 2nd light flashes

all filling chamber/hose float etc checked. what happens is it fills then sprays for 10 seconds then spray pump stops for about 45 seconds then comes on again for 10 seconds.

any ideas on this would be appreciated!
