ParticipantBefore I order a new board I thought I would ask if anyone has come across this problem or could throw any light on to it 😉
First fault, FO3 seen by customer not by me, then fault cleared and the machine boiled on the next prog. …… I have tested the thermistor/ connections etc and all seems fine, but it does not matter which prog. is selected the machine keeps heating past the selected temp. BUT goes through the programme and finishes. 😕 😕

Does the programme progress, or is it hanging at heat point?

Hi Chris
Yes it’s counting down through the prog. as normal. My first thoughts was that the heater relay on the board was welded closed but I think this would leave the heater on through spin which it is not

Heh, was going to say give the relay a smack…….
Unless the p/sw is in line with the feed form the relay? Sorry, no wiring diagram.

I have has several FO3’s on Indesit machines recently, all cured with a new NTC, the small round white one that fits into the backplate. Not seen it on one of these before.
It still looks more like a board fault though. 😕

Not that I am aware of, I usually save them from displaced heaters but this one will no doubt have the much smaller connector.

Not known at Masterpart but Qualtex recognise it, around £7.00.
