Must be well over 5 years old now and still works fine and never needs de-frosting manually…

Just noticed it is getting noisey off late (you notice when whatever it is turns off) – now i’m guessing it is usually the same part that fails first on these models as the usage from person to person would be almost identical…

I think it’s just when the compressor is on as it’s intermittent for a few minutes then stops etc

    – is this bearings or a particular fan unit? – I think it’s coming from lower down on the appliance but not pulled it out to have a look yet…

It’s not excessivly loud but has deffo got worse (noisier than it was) – you can just hear it in the adjacent room with the door shut…

    TIA

These are the dogs doo dahs IMHO when it comes to their refrigeration.
Have you tried pulling appliance away from the wall incase compressor is knocking on skirting board etc?

As fara s fan, it may be ice bulid up hitting the fan or some packaging entering the fan assembly (poss overloading)

Yeah, it is very good… I don’t think it’s that sort of noise but worth checking anyway, just wanted a few opinions before pulling it out…

It’s a sort of wurring noise like a fan or bearing (not high pitch or droning) and seems to be there when (i think) the compressor is running.

    Hi
Only has one fan in the appliance so I can only assume its the compressor without physically being there :con:
