Hi all,I have just bought a new house and this is the dishwasher that is fitted,The problem I have is,when I open the door to fill/empty the dishwasher it will not stay open,it just springs back to the closed position and just about takes my hand with it !! Surely this cannot be correct ??
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Poorly installed by “fitter”, will need the door springs re-tensioning (as per handbook) to compensate the weight of the door correctly.
Correct tensioning will result in the door remaining open when fully opened and when door is raised slightly it should spring gently up to an ajar position.Greg
NB – Door tensioning MUST be done with the wood door panel on 😉
