    Hi Folks

    Came to change the square cut out on the top of the drier box on a WD61 and the new stat was different from the old (partno sent was 1605635) .. thought must of ordered wrong stat as different partno to one in my book so reorded under old partno (1600870) and came as 1605635..

    Have they changed the square stat and if so how do you fit them when they pysically wont fit.. or am I just having a senior moment?

    There is a post on this somewhere. Used to come with instructions, however, you have to bend back the mounting bracket to allow it to fit, the wiring is then a bit tight but it will just reach.

    Edit: Yes sir, just get them pliers on the job and bend the bracket slightly….

    Thanks Jim… thought there might be another post on this but couldn’t find one..

    You never know they might do a mod where we have to hit them with a hammer 😈
