Diplomat ADP4230- I had a power cut yesterday and when the oven came back on, the LED display was and still is flashing. The time is visible and the small A (auto) also. The hobs and the top oven/grill works fine, but the bottom fan-assisted oven is completely dead. I’ve tried following the manual and pressing the correct buttons to stop the flashing but to no avail. Can someone point me in the right direction??? 🙁

It sounds like your clock is stuck on auto – if you really can’t get it to come out of that mode then you may well be looking at either a wiring fault or a new clock; part number 082139700 and will cost you around £130.

Try holding the mode button in and pressing both the + and – buttons. other than that you might be as well getting someone out to look at it to see if they can reset it for you and check the wiring before considering costly spares.
