The machine is just over a year old and I’ve always refilled the salt compartment when the salt symbol flashes but this time it just won’t stop flashing.
The salt level seemed to be going down so I gave it a stir and filled it again, used the machine a few times and still it flashes – any idea what could be causing the problem or should I just ignore it?

If the salt literally ran out, it may take a little while for the solution to become fully ionised for the sensor to detect.
Either way, it doesn’t affect the machines function – just remember to top up regularly if the light really won’t go out.
