Hi
If you can make the dishwasher empty then you do not have a problem with the drain pump 😉
The stuttering is more likely caused by a semi blocked ribbed pipe behind lower plinth, caused by fiid debris/crud build up.
The pipe will pull off as its only “o” ringed in, clean thoroughly and test.
Should be ok then.Greg

The clicking is most probably the water diverter on the heater.
It may be jammed but unfortunately comes complete on the heater p/no 483058.Check your email for everthing you will need 😉

I agree with Gegsy’s first reply. If the drain pump runs with the anti-flood s/w made, you don’t have a problem with the pump.
You say you’ve checked the sump hose, but have you removed, stripped and cleaned the pressure chamber it connects to ❓ .
Also have you checked the dump valve on the side chamber for continuity, as this m/c splits it’s fill through the dump valve and the pressure system.
As Greg said the other “clicky” bit would be the diverter on the underside of the heater. So worth checking the simple bits first 😉

I agree with all that’s been said above – But for future reference you can get to check the drain pump from the front of the machine. It’s positioned on the left hand side of the base – just remove the screw holding the cover over the pump and you can see the impellor & then check for any blockages. 😉
