    Been coming across more belt failing lately, Would any one know which are the common ones worth carring on the van?

    all vented dryers have the same belt.. 1701658 , and that fits the earlier tdl and tl models, so its worth keepin a couple in yer van

    the condenser belts tend not to snap, its usually the pulley that breaks

    so really, its just the one

    and before anyone jumps in with the ‘correct’ part number, i think ull find this belt is the same length, and fits all of the late vented range of merloni dryers

    oh you mean C00095658 😆

    seriously though, I have not done one of these for ages that only required a belt, they all had knackered rear bearings as well so carry a C00095655 as well.

    I have fitted 2 shaft kits (1701662) in old money, Over the last 3 weeks. For once a good repair kit, even comes with pop rivets. Will order a couple of the belts you mentioned.
