    Hi
    I have had an Indesit ISL70C condenser dryer for the past year and have had all sorts of problems with it; so much so that I am considering cutting my losses and starting again with a new one.
    The problem now is the when you switch it on it starts on a cycle but stops when it is time for the drum to go in the opposite direction. Any ideas?

    Can you hear a faint humming noise when it should be reversing, if so it may be the motor capacitor, not an expensive part.

    more likely to be the timer tbh, ive fitted a load for that reason alone

    You live and learn, I have had several vented dryers with this fault, never had one on a condensor model ( yet ) 😉

    i must fix 3 maybe 4 condensers a day

    timers belts, drum shafts, wheel conversions, pulleys, fan (front AND back) weak capacitors, duff heaters

    faulty pcb’s bitron doorlocks that wont turn off, doors that wont lock , felt seals, door seals, condensers.. pumps, ntc’s, pcbs ,eproms

    when will it all end?

    Maybe my first suggestion of getting rid and starting again was a good one after all.

    good idea, just please dont fall into the trap where u go and see a hotpoint/creda and think its a better buy

    same thing u see!!!!
