How do i reset this dishwasher once the fault code AO1 appears? Customer has not used machine for a month so bottom tray is dry but there is rust and water marks coming from the circulation pump so i assume this is the problem. In the user manual it shows how to reset m/c after other error codes but it does not seem to work for this one. The pump is operating continuasly even sometimes when you switch it off on the front panel. I have checked float and switch. Any ideas?

Once a code is displayed you have to reset. Press & hold Start/Reset button, After a few seconds the display should return to three dashes.

Check the float switch carefully. These machines oversoap for fun. I had to change a float microswitch on one today, the motor looked rusty but it was only fitted about six months ago, definitely not leaking, the motor is that low that it lies in the water in the base, the switched had shorted inside.

Thanks for reply Jim! I tried resetting machine with the float switch disconnected, i get the dashes come up but after a few seconds the pump just kicks back in again. I don,t want to replace the wash pump until i know its that for sure, and i can reset the machine
