Participanthas anybody experienced any problems with a hoover six express 1200 ? problem i found when visiting a machine today was the timer cycles through all the programes without stoping or advancing on as should normaly happen. i checked motor heater water solonoids and pump cannot find a thing wrong all i can put it down to is the controll module or the timer. i had the timer in bits and cannot see anything wrong any clues or prices please ?

Might be best to send the module away for testing to EMW and if necessary have them repair it! In the past I have come acropper with new Hoover modules – often they dont come configured and there is no information on how to do it 👿

Likely as not the Stepper Motor is the fault here? Cost = around £20 I think?

the motor on the back of the timer is the same kind of one as a microwave turntable motor only 2 connections and 240v most of the controlling of the machine is just done from a main pcb

thanks to senseib for mentioning EMW i just checked there site for a new timer board price and timer slave unit. and they list the fault on there page and what part is to blame 😀 they show the timer slave unit to be at fault and only cost £20 to replace i still got my fingers crossed on this one i do hope it does the job :rolls:

You can pick up new slave units (91201337) for about £7. no need to spend £20.
