    Hi all,
    i have just changed the broken belt on my washing machine but upon testing it the drum will not budge,i have tried removing the belt and testing the motor spins (it does) has anyone got any suggestions because im at a loss.. 👿

    ps the drum did spin before i took the back panel off…

    Sock under (or up the back of) the drum would be a good bet……..

    Thanks Penguin…..after 2hour stripping it down and losing a pint of claret in the process i found a screw from my work trousers between the drum and casing..

    hopefully sorted now.. 😀
