    Hi,

We have just had Calor gas put in the house for cooking. No problems with the gas installation. We bought a Statesman G501 cooker and had a Corgi bloke round to do the conversion.

However, the simmer is to high. In the manual it says you can take the knob off and adjust the simmer through the hole in the centre spindle. Ok, how ?

Also, is this something I should be doing ? I really don’t want to have to pay a ridiculous call out charge just to adjust it.

This should have been done as part of the Corgi installation. You might not have to pay if you let them know that it still needs to be done.

Correct, if he hasnt done it he hasnt converted your cooker properly, I go to quite a few where it hasnt been done by the installer.
