    hi have this problem with the programs. If you select ecomony the it starts and goes striaght to 1 min. if you select auto it goes to 199mins. i think it may be the pcb but not sure exactly. any ideas please.

    The ‘auto’ cycle calculates the wash and rinse times using the turbidity sensor – this device in effect ‘looks’ through the water and calculates the length of the cycle depending on the opacity of the wash water. 199 minutes is the maximum time on the PCB, so it is in effect saying, “Yuk…. full of cr*p…..:wink:
    The hose between the water metering tank and sump hose is the first place to look. If that is clear, the system (heater box with turbidity sensor on top) is blocked or sludged up. Holes in filters, incorrect fitting filters and lazy customers are the culprits here.
    Clean all the filters, metering hose, sump and inside the dishwasher. Then run it empty through a intensive cycle with dishwasher detergent to break up the crud. If it won’t do the intensive cycle straight away, use the auto several times until it cleans itself up. The time on the display should drop down quite quickly as it progresses.
    That method worked for me.
