    I have an issue here.

    I can’t always devote the time I’d like to chasing up contacts personally. I obviously get to them but, sometimes there’s a delay and I don’t think that’s acceptable. It’s just my anal view of things.

    I know I get shouldered with it and that’s fine, I don’t mind it at all but I just don’t think I do well enough sometimes. So, with that in mind, is it okay if I delegate some of it to Sean? He’s old, bored and can remove the hind legs from several donkeys at once. He’s also extremely adept at talking to people, not that I want to big him up as I’ll never hear the end of it, but TBH from experience, he’s the man for the job. I’d even go so far as to say that he’d be worth paying to do it.

    Sean did a LOT of the contacts when we did the detergent training and, without him doing it, the results would have been abysmal, he made it happen on that front.

    I’m always telling you to use the resources you have, I’d say the same here, use the best resource you can and, in this case, it’s Sean.

    It’s a team sport. 😉

    Next contact thing…

    Phone line. I mentioned this to Lawrence today (I think) when I mentioned that the TA doesn’t have a phone number. Do you want one?

    My opinion is that it should have one dedicated line, we’d man it anyways during office hours so that’s not really a concern. But if anyone wants to talk to us it is a primary communication method that we don’t have and whilst the UKW line is simply answered “UK Whitegoods” and the morning/afternoon I think that it should be more professional than that.

    For £100 a year or whatever it is, I think it’s a necessity really.

    Using Sean is a great idea it does what we said we would do -use resources at our disposal.
    As for the phone line -Yes you did mention it and yes go for it .
