I had a customer call me at the weekend, saying that the chilled drinking water supply had stopped. It had been working the night before, but no water in the morning. On calling with him, I pressed the paddle and heard the click the solenoid makes, which I sort of didn’t expect to hear. I proceeded to remove the back panel, and removed the outlet tube from the solenoid, and water did flow ok. To cut a long story short, I eventually traced it to the tube leading up through the door panel having frozen. The machine is 3yrs old, and this never happened before. The freezer is logging -18, so that looks ok. Ambient temperature in kitchen is ok, as heating being run as normal, this time of year. Wondering if anyone else out there has come up on this problem before, and are there any tips on prevention in the future?
