    Moving into the small flat soon. I have narrowed my purchases down to the following with the help of the Which Best Buys. Any advice to help me make the final decision.

    Fridge/Freezer:

    Hotpoint FF200-EP (£380)
    Samsung RL33SBSW (£300)
    Whirlpool ARC7472 (£370)
    Miele KFN 8862 SD (£599)

    Washer/Dryer (No room for seperate appliances):

    John Lewis JLWD1408 (£499)
    AEG-Electrolux L16830 (£480)

    Price is a factor but if anyone has strong advice it would help a complete novice to decide. Not too bothered about colour. Quietness and reliability are important.

    F/F – the Whirlpool or the Miele. If you’ve got a bit of time, worth checking through Liebherr products – there is probably an equivalent for rather less pennies than the Miele.

    W/D – either – they’re both Zanussi products and the dryer will work reasonably well for a couple of years.
