Bosch SGV5303GB/13

    went to this machine, stripped down removed and cleaned side tank float chambers and lower fill hose (all part blocked) refitted and tested.
    customer rang about 40 mins later to say it was leaking from under the door…org fault..but only happens way into cycle.. any advice as to the cause !! he opened the door and tells me the lever appears normal. could it be lower door seal..!! never had to change one yet. cheers John.

    Do you mean the lower spray arm? If thats been opened for cleaning and the spigot hasn’t been fully clipped home it will leak, usually under the left-hand corner of the door 😉

    Clive, no sorry mate, not the lever.. the water level appears normal.
    havent taken sray arms apart. cheers John.

    Split in the spray arm (regardless of disassembly…….) can do this. The bottom seal distorting can do this. The front edge of the tub has a habit of bowing out and down and that can do it as well.
