Hi, I very recently bought my first dishwasher secondhand from eBay.
It’s a hotpoint FDW60G, After reading this forum and others I wish I had gone for a different make!
The problem I’m having is lights 4 & 6 flashing which I have read is a heater problem. I’ve tested the heater and its fine the water is getting hot. I’ve checked the connections on the control board and they are fine too, no dry joints or the suchlike. The machine works sometimes but more often than not it will stop with the lights flashing. It appears not to finish the cycle.
Any ideas of anything else to check!
    Thanks

I think you’ll find it’s the filterblock error code – the machine is struggling to drain. Check filters (obviously), drain hose for trapping and kinks and the sink coupling (if appropriate).

Thanks, I must admit from what I’d read on here I thought it was the heater/thermostat! I have re-routed the waste pipe, I’ll see if that does it!
    Cheers
