Zanussi ZSF4126 – help!

Have recently moved into temporary accommodation following floods and decided that the dishwasher needed to come too! Only way of getting it there (without removals van) was to tip it (carefully) on its side to get it into the car. When it arrived my partner connected it and I ran a dishwasher cleaner through it on the economy cycle with no problems. When I came to do an actual wash, the ‘wash’ light didn’t illuminate at all and the ‘start/cancel’ light flashed once when I pressed it. And nothing else happened. I checked the filters, all OK. The machine is fairly new and the manual doesn’t cover this assortment of indications. Should I call an engineer?
