At the end of a cycle 3 tracks on the contol board blow like fuses. I’ve changed the heater, motor brushes (it is about 6 years old) and the control board. Any ideas before I have to get a new machine? We liked Bosch up until now. My last thought is the door lock mechanisim as tracing the blown track leads there and it blow at the end of a full cycle.
Occassionally during a cycle we can hear some loud rattling coming from the inside of the machine casing. I guess this might have a connection with the problem – it is definitely not the clothes being washed.

From what you have told us it doesn’t sound good to be honest. Blown tracks on circuit boards are bad news at the best of times. So motor very suspect?
Loud rattling?…..blimey that could be anything especially bad if its inside the outer tub?
Sounds to me that it’s useful life is up and a new machine the best option? 😕
