hi all,
im new to these forums and hoping that someone will help me out, i have a Whirlpool washing machine model no: G2PWM1/wh (intigrated appliance) it has been going strong for a few years without anything going wron, however last week the drum would not spin properly. i order new Carbon brushes and installed them today, i tested the machine and it filled with water on a rinse but would not spin, after draining the water i tried again but now it would not even fill with water, the selector just turns and the drum moves back and forth but very slowly, when the cycle finshes another program is selected but still no water.
the drian pump is clear, the inlet hoses are not blocked and neither is the drain hose.
is it just a case of the machine is too old and needs replacing or does anyone have anything else to try, i think i have put everything down that has happened….
