ParticipantI have the ADP8322 integrated dishwasher, typically its now out of guarantee and last night about 10 minutes into a wash cycle it stopped washing and started continuous beeping, when i opended the door the Pre-rinse light stays on and the start button flashes continuously (no pause’s as manufacturers suggested should be a flashing pattern) 😕
This morning i have cleaned out the filter, topped up the rinse aid and salt and switched it off for a while by the mains, then poured 2 kettles of boiling water into the drainage part(suggestion by my Grandfather). i have just tried again and it started to wash for about 30 seconds then beeping started again with exactly the same flashing buttons. I was wondering if you have any suggestions as to what i could try to get it to work. When i open the dishwasher it drains the boiled water away (whilst beeping and cutting off after 30 seconds) Not sure if this is relevant but the dish washer was also totally dry last night and from what i can see no water is going in during my continous attepmts to ‘try it again’
Any help at all would be greatly apprechiated.

Constant flashing on this Whirlpool-built machine is indicative of fault F1 – the NTC failure. Extensive posts through the forum – use ‘Whirlpool AND ntc’ in the Search facility for this forum only. Model number and ntc will work as well.

The codes are not infallible. You need a test meter of some description to check the resistance reading of the NTC device – unfortunately, even getting a reading doesn’t imply that the damn thing functions correctly. It is a twist fit from underneath, so dropping the undertray is usually a good idea for better access.
Power off, of course.
