    Interesting one I thought I’d share.

    Called to above machine, coming up E9 and starting before start button pressed. Started doing the obvious – working through the water level system and matrix. Got to the flow meter and found a grey plastic disc next to it. Turned out to be the top of the mains suppressor. Innards looked somewhat discoloured, replaced it and bingo! Everything working perfectly again.

    Presumably the damaged suppressor was generating noise on the computer.
