    Hi,

My Hygena ahy8101 wont fill with water and when turned on just makes a noise from the motor. I have checked the water feed in and thats fine, I have looked for any blockages and there are none.

I have tried looking for the float to check it moves freely but Im not sure what it looks like, I took off the sprayer arm etc to get access to the bottom bit and it looks ok in there.

Any other ideas, I read some about resetting it by pressing a button ?

    Cheers

    Re: Hygena ahy8101 wont fill

Programme sequence is typically: drain, then fill, then circulation.

If the drain pump is not cutting out after a minute or so, the flood protection may be operating. The protection system is in tray under the machine. If the circulation pump is cutting in without any water, the machine may think that it’s already full, in which case you are looking at a problem with the water level control side of things. Finally, the valve may have failed and be simply not allowing fill. The coil should read c.3.5kOhms when metered.

    Power off, if investigating.
