I went to a White Knight 767 condenser dryer today. It was tripping the RCD. When I meggered it from the plug, my digital megger bleeped that a DC voltage was present. When I pushed the test button it was straight down to earth. I then tipped the machine forward to remove the back to check the capacitor and pump. Both were OK. I then meggered it again and it was OK. Reassembled it. put back on its feet, meggered again -down to earth. ANY suggestions as to fault, or where the DC voltage came from I would apprieciate.

I had one last week blowing water onto the element.
Thought the pump was sticking so fitted a new one, cleaned out also.
It only worked for one cycle, then soaked the element.
Had to take my pump out 😥
    Any ideas clever people?

Impellor comes loose on pump, big gobs of fluff around and in the pump pick up chamber. Drum out to fix.

    Yorkshire engineering :rolls: .

Yes i have done a few that were leaking, pump cured the problem.
This one i fitted a new pump and it still blew water onto element. All condenser and chambers clean.

Another tip on these: If you have water in the fan chamber, it’s worth asking the customer if they’ve recently moved the machine. 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time they have, and they’ve laid it on it’s back at some point. 😕
