Please could you help with a problem I have come across this evening. The unit I looked at is a Diplomat ADP8242 s/n 219800902 and found that the pcb was burnt through. The burn is about 3 inches long and about 1/4 inch wide and it is situated horizonally about 3/4 way down pcb. There appears to be no spillage on the board and the damage does not correspond to any particular plug attached to board. The user started the programme and it just went dead. Door stat was reading about 11k. heater 26 ohms and stat ok. pump and motor also read ok. wiring loom through door has not breaks or issues.
Has anyone else had this issue?? would it be anything else besides the board? Had a look at some of the threads and the dispenser solenoid is mentioned quited alot but would this cause the board to burn up.
Any help would be apprecated. Geoff

Had a few do that over the years, never did really get to the bottom of it. The last couple, I’ve changed the dispenser as well with no come-backs.
