    Hi all.

I have a Bosch fridge freezer, around 11 years old — type with the digital display of freezer and fridge temp, ‘eco’ setting, all push button etc. Model number missing, but it has the removable rear panel within the freezer part if that helps ID it. Problem it has developed is that the compressor starts, but only runs for about 5 – 10 seconds before stopping again. Eco or superfreeze setting doesn’t seem to make much odds — it still defrosts. It’s not a refrigerant issue — I’ve temporarily ‘hot wired’ the compressor and it’s freezing down fine. Also. the temp display is working fine and reasonably accurately, so whatever does the measurement seems OK. All thoughts suggestions and solutions welcomed !

    Thanks, Mike.

My money would be in the PCB behind the top fascia p/no 263782 available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
For the record, please don’t mess about with mains and hard wiring. Useful as it may be you are just asking for trouble ❗
Always power off if you are to attempt any repair/investigation 😉
