See these bl00dy people that stay in Wales, they ought to be shot… 😆

Sean was raggin’ me to day about the eSpares thing (amongst others) and he asked the question, “Why can’t we offer the same sort of thing, with a fixed price”.

My answer, bar the technical limitations of what we can do without doing some funky stuff which, can ultimately be done when we get down to it, was that I promised that repairs@ would always be a free service to the repairers and, secondly the customers. I then said that I won’t break my word, that’s what I said and I won’t go back on it.

However, I didn’t say we wouldn’t add to the service.

So, with that in mind I said, fine, we can do it. Technically it’s doable, all I need is the budget. That’s not a concern right now though, I like principles sorted first and the goals defined.

Anyway, I kinda, sorta suggested that the ONLY way I’d consider this is if the recipients of any work in such a manner were WTA members and were actually, really in fact signed up to the charter/COP. There’s many reasons for this way of thinking but the primary one is to promote the TA coupled with the fact that we, as a group, would have some control over our own destiny.

Now I’ve said my piece and laid out the basics you can all get bailed in and state your opinion.
