I have a Hygena AHY 8122 which worked fine yesterday, but doesn’t want to play today. No matter where the programmer is, the pump runs continuously, water will not enter and I can’t find a point on the programmer where it will stop. Anybody any ideas, please?
I had a read of other threads on this forum and concluded that it must be something to do with the level switch. So I had a bit of a mess with that (or I think that’s what it was!) and hey presto, we’re up and running again.
I have the very same problem with my 8122!!!
can you describe in a bit more detail which bit you fiddled with??
I was guilty of not rinsing the plates sufficiently well- cauliflower cheese blocked the drain and water across the floor!!
Attempted to clear the drain unsuccessfully, so baled water out by hand until i could see the filter and then clean it! machine is now constantly running the drain pump.
The drain pump will run constantly if the flood protection system is operating. This will be because water has leaked into the tray under the machine. Drain it off and see what happens.
