I know I’m a silly boy for buying a Servis but I did (I’m not proud of it) it was cheap as chips from B&Q…. Anyhow, 3 MONTHS into using the dam thing and its developed a fault… (I can already hear the echos of now there’s a surprise being said) 😕

Here’s the problem, start the poxy thing up, fills with water does nothing for about 3 minutes, drains and then flashes a green light to indicate the program has finished 😯

Any of you kind gents tell me whats wrong please please please……

    Hi

The model number and serial number would be a help and if its only 3 months old is still under guarantee.

OK, its an EasiLogic M6011 and the serial is 20072016391-010077290-01

Only bind with the guarantee is its only valid with proof of purchase which I haven’t got, unfortunately…. Didn’t expect the poxy thing to have a fit anytime soon….. 👿

Been chatting with some guys at work who say it could possibly be the brushes…. but surely not after 3 months of minimal use?

If you bought it on a credit card, you have proof of purchase.
If you bought it with a debit card, you have proof of purchase.
If you have a credit agreement, you have PoP.
If you have a word with your retailer, they will issue a duplicate sales receipt.

    Lots of ways…….. 😀

(It’ll be the electroncs, BTW – it always is.)

Oh jeez, that doesn’t sound too good! 🙁

Someone at Servis needs a good thrashing if an electronic component in a 3 month old machine has gone t*ts up! 😈

    Thanks Penguin45…..

Don’t take this the wrong way Dusty – you gets what you pays for. It ain’t a great machine, as you have acknowledged – consequently, the back-up isn’t so hot either.

    Good luck with it,

    It’s a fact of life I’m afraid.

We get a call on these, we walk in with a module most often as almost without fail it’ll need a PCB. Mind you, they’re made by part-time Italian housewives by a company known as REMCO in Milan IIRC and we all know how well the words “Italian” and “electrics” mix so well. Get more complex with “electronics” and you just know how this is gonna turn out.

Good for us as it’s easy diagnosis and easy money, bad for the people that bought them. Even if people scrap it they often buy the same thing with a different name printed on it.

To be fair some of them last beyond the warranty period but, beware, they are fitted to many brands. 😉

OR a lump hammer, TNT, swimming pool, bin wagon, angle grinder…. the list goes on and on :rolls:

One has learned 2 thing today, don’t buy Servis and don’t mention the brand on this forum 😯

I have nothing against Servis, except for their stupidly high cost of spares!
