it’s not c00099905 as the terminations are different

I’ve got egg on my face with this one as I caused the fault so I can’t send the customer back to Hotpoint! This job is one of those where you wished you stayed in bed

any help will be really appreciated

    thanks Bob 😥 😳

    Re: Hotpoint wd860p module

I have e-mailed you some info that may help.

The other module I can see is a C00143068, three different eeproms as well.

Blimey Bob sorry to hear that. 🙁

Have you made note of the ‘5 digit Commercial Code’ from the ‘Industrial Code’ that Partfinder seems to suggest is the way of identifying the correct module? 😕

    Re: Hotpoint wd860p module

Thanks boys. I’m still no nearer to sorting this out. The photos of both C00143068 and C00099905 on the Connect site both show different terminal configurations.

I will go back to the customer tomorrow and see if I can get a bit more info from the machine.

The problem all started with a noisy dryer element. It was vibrating during spin, so I replaced the heater box with the new kit. Sadly I didn’t realise that the kit didn’t include a gasket between the heater box and the drum and subsequently it leaked during spin and soaked the module. 😳

    Gosh! I wish I hadn’t got involved.
    🙁
    Bob
