    Hi Folks

Anyone found an easy way or any tips to remove these heaters as they have no shoulder on the rubber gromet to help prise them out..

I have one to do next week and the last couple i have done were a right pigs to get out.. far the worst heaters I have had to remove except for the old zanussi ones..

    Or am I missing something?

    Thanks

    Mick

undo the nut and remove, take out the ntc, knock the threaded shaft right back through the rubber then push the rubber into the machine the heater will then be able to come forward and turn slightly to the side then work out the rubber starting from one end using a small screwdriver and long nose pliers

    good luck

Thanks for the reply Wilf sounds like we both use a similar method although I’ve always been afraid if I push all the gromit in, it wont come out again due to it expanded out and make removal worse…

As I got no other replies I guess no one has a easy way to get these out… looks like I going to have to struggle as usual but just wondered if anyone had come up with an ingenious method yet.

What happened to the days when m/c were made to be repaired whithout to much of a struggle?

    Thanks

    Mick
