T ❓ his one runs for afew minutes from cold with heater working. Then all stops; no heat, no rotation. The door switch checks OK. After 5 – 10 minutes it will restart with a press on the start button only to repeat the process.
When it dies, a flash spark can be seen from the relay.
When it dies & the door is opened the check filter light comes on.
💡 I am suspecting the timer as temperature limiters have been checked & dont stop the motor in any case I think ❗
💡 maybe there is a temperature limiter in the motor.
😳 I’de rather not strip everything down only to find the repair uneconomical.
I wonder has anyone seen this before?
Apologies for long winded but wish to give as full detail as possible.
    Any help appreciated.

hi, most likely is the relay itself, easy way to tell, when it shuts down if you open & lose door & press start the relay should ‘click’ before anything else tries. it prob wont, common thing to go, no click = duff relay, when its cooled down it will start again for a few minutes, easy cheap fix

😀 Many thanks; as you say easy to replace so will try this. You are right, no click when waiting between shutdowns.
