My indesit IDL730/735 (circa 2006) finishes the cycle and the lights 2(wash) and 4 (dry) flash. The dishes look clean though.
The indesit ‘help’line say it’s the heating element and want to charge silly money.
Is the machine OK to use over the Xmas period and does anyone have similar experiences with this model/error?

2 + 4 is a heater fault. Chances are it will not wash heavily soiled items that well. Could be the heater or the control module, both notoriously unreliable on thse machines.
A local independent may be a better option, then of course there is always the January sales. 😉
