I’ve just watched my FJ1295 go through a full cycle to verify it was working after an earlier fix and, although it filled/heated/washed/pumped/etc, I didn’t notice anything different to a normal “non-jetwash” washer.

What’s the jetwash bit supposed to do?
I noticed a hum from the lower front right – could this be a jammed jetwash pump (is there such a thing?)

yep, and its designed to ‘shower’ the clothes with water… most people dont notice it doesnt work, but ive had occassion to find a fault code in diagnostics.. e85 i believe where the pump goes o/c and doesnt allow the machine to start

if you look inside the door, and upwards, you’ll see a spout.. and thats where the waters supposed to come out, and be wary, it doesnt spray the water all the time

    Thanks!
‘Any suggestions about which part of the cycle it’s supposed to be spraying in?
Presumably I lie the machine on its back to get to the pump – is it just a case of replacing it or can it be stripped?

your gonna have to take the rear cabinet off to get to it

and the pump itself is a different base to the normal pump, has a different sized impellor, although u have put an ordinary pump base on and its worked fine

oh… and when its supposed to work? the machine will fill , then tumble 5 or six times, on the level fill, the second one, the pump SHOULD be running then

    good luck
