Black mould is the bain of my life. I use the plant spray method with diluted bleach, a pan brush and cotton buds to clear out the fabric conditioner section. Just a thought. I use HG mould spray on my silicone sealant in the shower. Could I use it in the soap dispenser too?

Thanks for the link KW. I do all the right things with the brush including the maintenance wash on 90. The Mould spray is quite effective in my shower so….would it harm the plastic in the dispenser of my machine? It doesn’t seem to affect my plastic shower tray.
The spray shouldn’t damage it I don’t think but, it’s untested.
Keeping it clean should minimise the problem though.

Now I think about it, HG do a range of sprays. I might have a look at the other ones and go onto the website. Reading the instructions on the mould spray bottle it seems suitable for just about anywhere as long as there is no metal or aluminium. May give it a go if I am feeling brave :rolls:
