HI TURN IT ON AND THE LIGHT FLASHES VERY FAST, AND THE TOP AND 4TH LIGHT DOWN FLASH AS WELL, THE DRYER AND TIME LIGHTS, THOUGH THESE FLASH SLOW TOGETHER

If lights 1 & 4 are flashing slowly that is supposed to indicate an eeprom setup error.
Indesit engineers are the only people with the software to reprogramme the eeprom, the only other alternative is a new PCB & eeprom. 😥

HI, thanks i thought it was a eprom fault if i ordered a board and eprom myself will i be able to fit it, or do i need the software, i am a cooker engineer working for a large uk company and have access to the parts but have never worked on hotpoint/indesit, thanks

The chances are you will have to pay more for the board and eeprom than the Indesit Company will charge you to fit it, all parts are under warranty for five years, their labour charge is just under £90.00.
No need for the software, the correct eeprom should come already configured.
There are two different power PCB’s, not interchangeable, serial number needed to ID. It is possible that an Indesit engineer would not have to change any parts, just reconfigure the eeprom then charge you a whacking £90.00 for the privilege. 😥Jim.
