I have a whirlpool art469 integrated fridge freezer, which I’ve just taken out of its cupboard while we re-do kitchen. I’ve noticed a little drip on the back of the fridge on the corrogated type material behind the black grill. At first I thought the pipe connected to the grill had sprung a leak so I carefully inspected it but found the water seems to be appearing through this corrogated material. It is only a small pin prick size but its always at the same spot and was frozen last time I looked while fridge/freezer was on. Anyone any ideas what this could be and why its occuring. Fridge/freezer seems to be working fine but would like to know what problem is before it goes into new kitchen. The water is appearing above the freezer unit but at the bottom end of the fridge unit to the right of fridg as you look at it from behind
This will continue to work ok for the for see able future but if you are fitting a new kitchen then replace this appliance with a new one and put this old one in a cupboard or warm garage with a concrete floor.
The foam instulation has failed which is causing the coldness to expand through the insulation,This is not repairable but will not drasticly reduce its working capability.
