Hi all,
Got a crack in the water dispenser tank for the RS21DCNS. Last year I replaced the defrost heater and sensor to cure a frosting-up problem. No faults currently reported on the fridge diagnostic display. My guess is that the old style evap cover needs renewing – it is original, 3 yr old and probably become sodden. The tank iced up and cracked having been not used for a fortnight over xmas as we were away…
So… Im guessing I can get a water tank through the sources on this forum – but is this a competent DIY or engineer job? Is access to the tank piping via the back panel or the front underpanel?
