    Apologies if this has been covered off before, I’ve looked but can’t find an answer.

    The dishwasher runs for 4 or 5 mins then stops and I get 1/2/3 lights flashing, 4 is off, 5 on all the time and the last one to the right of the P button stays on permanently too. Could post images (if someone could tell a technophobe how to).

    Can anyone point me in the right direction, or should I head off to Curry’s?

    Spurious error – flow meter failure. This part is not fitted to your appliance. Computer needs to be reset – use Search for this forum and put in ‘Smeg AND reset’ or ‘Diplomat AND reset’ for procedure.

    is that the POWER OFF and turn POWER on whilst holding down the PROGRAMME BUTTON reset? Followed by a BEEP.

    This is such a big site, I’m looking but can’t see the wood for the trees!
