    Hi i have a problem with my Indesit IDL705 dishwasher, when i switch the thing on the 1st light comes on as per normal it then waits about 60 secs beeps 4 times and then does nothing. i then pressed the reset button and lights 2 and 3 start to flash.

    Any help is appreciated.

    No fill. Check water is on, fill hose not trapped or kinked. Valve failure also possible.

    Power off if you need to remove any panel.

    Hi just checked there is mains supply to the dishwasher, is the valve the one with the little orange plug right next to the inlet pipe?

    Correct. Coil should read about 3.5kOhms.

    Its reading 3.97kohms is this still ok

    Yup, that’ll do – there is a fair bit of variation. Most likely PCB at fault in that case – not turning the valve on.

    That was it i must have knocked the main cable connecting to the pcb when i replaced the on/off switch, now working fine thanks Penguin45
