    Hi,

    I have an Indesit Slimline DE43 dishwasher.

    Error message A05 is displayed on the LED.

    The code means ‘Level Switch not resetting in within 3′ 20″ of drain commencing – machine drains until Level Switch resets +1 minute’

    Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it please?

    Hi,

    No the bottom is full of water.

    I put it on setting 2 yesterday. It went for 3 mins then stopped. The error message followed.

    I left it over night and turned it on again this morning. It didn’t make any pumping noises,or any noises at all. It just went from 60 to 57 (program count down) then the A05 message came up. The tray is still full of water.

    Therefore……. The level switch didn’t drop out, so after 3′ 20″ – A05!

    Presumably you have some sort of blockage, or possibly a drain pump failure. It’s the pink or blue block attached to the drain hose underneath if you’re going to investigate this.

    Bail out as much water as you can first, and power off, of course.
