    Has anyone ever noticed on Dyson Cleaners that the filter housings are marked with a Panasonic stamp ?

    Sorry to post this here but I did not think it a good idea to post it in the vacuum forum as its public.

    Anyone know what the tie is if any and why would James Dyson ever want another manufacturers name on his products ?

    the story goes that to fund the initial production of Dyson vacs in europe, he sold the rights in Japan to a company there who manufuctured them (without the clear dust container as the Japanese dont like to see their own dirt) so I guess there may be a connection with Matsushita somewhere along the line and as they are all manufactured in Asia now anyway….who knows.
    As for the Neff Bosch microwaves, i think the whole product is from Matsushita, never mind just the mags.

    I know this is off topic a bit but did anybody on here work for Dyson service,particularly under a bloke called Shane something or other????
